1 Turkey's pro-Kurdish party has ruled out forming a coalition with the AK Party, after election results showed that the ruling party has lost its parliamentary majority. The AK party secured over 41 percent of the vote, which is seen as a blow to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's ambitions to expand his powers.

2 Protesters in the US city of Los Angeles have gathered outside the Mayor’s home to demand justice for a black man who was fatally shot by police last August. The protesters slammed a controversial decision by the LAPD to clear the two officers involved in the shooting of Ezell Ford.

3 A British Muslim woman has had her hijab ripped off in a racially motivated attack in London. The victim was approached by a number of women, who began shouting at her. Police say they have arrested two women in connection with the crime. They have been released on bail.

4 European commission president Jean-Claude Juncker has accused the Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras of undermining negotiations over new bailout terms for Athens. He says Athens is presenting the E-U proposal as a leave-or-take offer, saying that’s not the case.

5 In eastern Ukraine, forces loyal to Moscow say the army violated the ceasefire many times on Saturday alone. The Defense Ministry of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic says it has registered 29 attacks in Donbas. The attacks were conducted from air and ground.

6 FIFA says Russia and Qatar may be stripped of their World Cup hosting rights if evidence of bribery is found in their bidding process. According to Domenico Scala, who is responsible for overseeing FIFA’s reform process, no evidence has been brought forth yet. Russia and Qatar deny all wrongdoing allegations.

7 The Syrian army has repelled an attack by the ISIL Takfiri terrorists on the strategic city of Hasakah in northern Syria. Government forces also liberated several installations. Last week, the Takfiri terrorists advanced to the southern entrance of the city and occupied an electricity station and stormed a prison there.
