Brazil launches 2014 World Cup inquiry following FIFA scandal

Brazil has launched an inquiry into corruption allegations relating to the country’s football confederation and its hosting of the 2014 World Cup. The country’s police also launched a parallel investigation into charges against three Brazilian FIFA officials. They were among 14 FIFA officials who were indicted for corruption last week.
