The Calbuco volcano in southern Chile has erupted again following its twin blasts last week.
A towering plume of grey smoke and ash rose from the crater. It prompted authorities to once again evacuate a 20-kilometer radius around the volcano. The volcano surprised residents of the Los Lagos region with two eruptions last Wednesday and Thursday after more than four decades of inactivity. Authorities evacuated thousands of people and declared a state of emergency after the eruptions.
