Press TV has conducted an interview with James Petras, a Middle East expert from New York, to discuss Saudi Arabia’s military aggression against Yemen.

Petras believes this is going to be a costly war, adding that the Saudis are going to suffer severe casualties especially if they send ground troops into Yemen.

Saudi Arabia is a country, which is very weak militarily, Petras argues, adding that the kingdom is heavily armed but without any large-scale populist support, and therefore it cannot sustain a prolonged war.

Petras also maintains that the Yemeni people are united against foreign invaders and mercenaries and the country will turn into a graveyard for the Saudi monarchy.
