Press TV has conducted an interview with Dr. Kevin Barrett, an editor of Veterans Today in Madison, the US, to discuss the recent decision by some Arab League leaders to form a joint military force to deal with what they describe as security threats.

The political commentator says the joint force would possibly play into the hands of the United States and pursue the imperial interests of certain Zionist lobbies in the Mideast region.

The decision to form such a force has been taken by an axis of puppet Arab monarchs, who are themselves the biggest violators of human rights, Barrett says.

He says the force can go deviant by carrying out black ops against regional nations on the orders of the US intelligence agency, the CIA and Mossad.

The analyst predicted that the ongoing Saudi invasion of Yemen will fail, saying that the Houthi Ansarullah fighters are determined to liberate their country from all sort of imperial and colonial influence.
