Press TV has conducted an interview with Joaquin Flores, with the Center for Syncretic Studies from Belgrade, to discuss tensions between Russia and the West over the crisis in Ukraine.

Flores says Russia has shown that it is an operator in international community acting in good faith, adding that Moscow is trying to minimize any possibility that tensions spill over and the conflict in Ukraine becomes a large-scale regional war.

He further notes the United States has unfortunately been intent on breaking the Minsk ceasefire agreement and is trying to create an environment of tension and paranoia among leaders of Baltic States, which will create a very negative political situation.
