Hundreds of thousands of Spaniards have poured onto the streets of the capital, Madrid, to express their support for a radical leftist party which believes in anti-austerity measures.
Meanwhile, massive rallies were held across Ireland to protest against the government’s austerity measures caused by the Troika bailout.
In this edition of The Debate, Press TV has conducted an interview with Shabbir Razvi, an economic commentator from London, and Keith Pilbeam, professor of international economics and finance at City University from London, to see whether or not the European countries are experiencing an anti-austerity wave.
