Syria negotiations will not be fruitful: Commentator
Press TV has interviewed Kevork Elmassian, an academic and political commentator from Beirut, to discuss a new round of talks between the Syrian government and representatives of opposition groups.
Elmassian argues that despite the importance of dialogue and the trust-building measures between the government in Damascus and the Western-backed opposition in Syria, the negotiations will bear no results due to the lack of influence of the opposition groups on the foreign-backed militants in the country.
