Iran warns enemies
Iran's top general has warned US and Israeli leaders against any new miscalculation, stressing that Iranian forces are counting down the minutes to respond to their foolish decisions. The comment was made by the Chief of the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces and Commander of the Central Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters, Major General Ali Abdollahi. The general referred to the anti-Iran rhetoric of US and Israeli leaders, stressing that if they could materialize the slogans they are now chanting, they would have done that during their past acts of aggression. Abdollahi stressed that in previous wars, the US and Israel claimed their goal was to overthrow the Islamic Republic, and partition and destroy Iran. However, he added, they are now the ones who face annihilation and collapse, while Iran continues to stand tall. Abdollahi warned that any miscalculation on the part of US and Israeli leaders would be met with a more different and more crushing response. He noted that the US and Israel have repeatedly tested the determination of Iran's leadership, nation, and powerful armed forces, warning that the country’s next roar will be much more devastating and impossible to intercept.
Iran military power
The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps has issued a stern warning against any possible attack on Iran's energy infrastructure by the country’s enemies. The warning was issued in a message by the IRGC’s spokesman, Brigadier General Hossein Mohebbi. The general said any attack on Iran's energy infrastructure will forever turn the occupied territories into scorched earth and displace their usurpers to the Sinai Desert. He stressed that any damage done by such an attack would be immediately repaired by Iran's young scientists. Mohebbi's remarks followed a similar warning by Iran’s new defense minister, who said any renewed US-Israeli aggression would trigger a surprise and widespread response with regional and global consequences. Mehrdad Akhlaghi Ketabchi said Iranian armed forces are ready to defend the country. He also pledged to strengthen the country’s missile, air defense, and drone capabilities, and boost support for Iran’s regional allies.
Plight of Palestinian abductees
Another Palestinian abductee has died in an Israeli prison less than a month after he was shot and assaulted by the regime’s forces. According to Palestinian sources, Ahmed Zaher Hmeidat was abducted from the Jalazone refugee camp, north of the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah, on September 30. They added that Hmeidat was driving his car when Israeli forces ambushed his vehicle, opened fire on it, and then brutally assaulted the young Palestinian. Since then, Israeli authorities withheld any information about his fate, until they informed his family of his death in prison. His death came less than a week after a Palestinian prisoners’ rights group warned that human rights violations against Palestinian abductees have been escalating in Israeli prisons during three years since the start of the Gaza genocide. The Palestinian Center for the Defense of Prisoners added that abductees are facing heightened levels of torture, as well as starvation, medical neglect, solitary confinement, and forced disappearance in the regime’s jails.
