Israel Gaza truce violations

Israeli forces continue to violate the ceasefire agreement with Hamas in Gaza, causing more civilian casualties and material damage across the blockaded territory. Palestinian sources reported five new fatalities as a result of Israel’s fresh strikes on Saturday, while 17 bodies were retrieved from under the rubble. They added that since the ceasefire agreement took effect, the regime’s forces have killed 226 Palestinians in Gaza. The overall death toll from the Israeli genocide since October 2023 stands at over 68,850, with more than 170,660 others injured. Meanwhile, Gaza’s Government Media Office said the Israeli regime is deliberately obstructing aid entry into Gaza. It noted that since the ceasefire, a daily average of one-hundred-45 trucks have entered Gaza, which is 24-percent of the six-hundred daily quota agreed by the truce agreement. It added that the regime is responsible for the catastrophic deterioration of humanitarian situation due to the continued siege of the territory.

‘Israel obstructs Gaza aid’

Forty humanitarian organizations have sounded the alarm about Israeli restrictions on aid entry into Gaza. They say the regime is obstructing the delivery of humanitarian aid through a new registration system on international non-governmental organizations. The organizations include Oxfam, Doctors without Borders, and the Norwegian Refugee Council. They said the new registration system for NGOs has left tens of millions of dollars of aid stranded outside Gaza. They added that under the new registration system, which was imposed in March, Israel has denied 99 aid delivery requests during the first 12 days of the ceasefire. The new restrictions come as the UN agency for Palestinian refugees said winter shelter supplies for one million people remain stuck in warehouses, and are barred by Israel from entering Gaza. Gaza officials have also warned of worsening conditions in the territory, with 93 percent of tents now unfit for habitation and thousands of displaced residents lacking water and sanitation.

Israel Lebanon aggression

The Israeli regime has launched another airstrike in southern Lebanon in a blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement with the Arab country. According to local media, four civilians were killed and three others injured in the airstrike near Kafr Rumman, in southern Lebanon. The strike targeted a vehicle, resulting in multiple casualties. The latest attack marks another breach of the November 2024 ceasefire, which Israel has repeatedly violated through airstrikes. The ceasefire came after an Israeli large-scale aggression, which left more than four-thousand people dead and around 17,000 others wounded. The regime also maintains troops in a number of strategic areas in southern Lebanon in violation of UN Security Council Resolution 1701, which calls for Israel’s complete withdrawal from the Lebanese territory.
