Trump's immigration crackdown
The Trump administration says it has decided to end deportation protections for Syrian immigrants. The decision will terminate protected status for thousands of Syrians. Syrians admitted under Temporary Protected Status (TPS) have 60 days to voluntarily leave the United States or face arrest and deportation.
The Trump administration has also threatened to deport pro-Palestinian activists, students and protesters. This episode of Spotlight looks at different aspects of the Trump administration’s anti-immigration and anti-Syrian and anti-Palestinian policy.
