"Iran demonstrated power"
The leader of the Islamic Revolution says the Iranian nation proved its strength, resourcefulness, endurance, and resolve during the recent 12-day imposed war. Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei was addressing a ceremony commemorating Iranian military commanders and scientists who lost their lives in the recent US-Israeli aggression. He emphasized that the Islamic Republic is built on the pillars of faith and knowledge, praising the nation for relying on these principles to push back against adversaries. He asserted that the primary reason for hostility toward Iran is opposition to the faith, knowledge, and unity of the nation. He also dismissed concerns over nuclear capabilities and human rights as mere pretexts, asserting that the real source of the ill-wishers' discomfort is Iran's successes in scientific and other fields.
Ethnic cleansing in Gaza
The Israeli regime continues its campaign of genocide in Gaza, killing scores of Palestinians in fresh attacks across the strip. Since morning, Israeli attacks have resulted in the killing of 85 people. The regime killed 31 aid seekers, and wounded some 200 others in 24 hours. The Nasser Medical Complex has reported seven martyrs in southern Gaza and four more near Khan Yunis. According to the Ministry of Health, hospitals have received at least 136 martyrs and 635 injured in the past day. The death toll from the US-Israeli genocide since October 2023 has surpassed 60,050, with more than 145,850 others injured.
No to Gaza annexation
Hamas has strongly condemned the Israeli officials' remarks that reveal the colonial nature of the occupation regime and constitute an explicit threat of forced displacement. Amid similar annexation efforts in the West Bank, Hamas warned of continued legitimate resistance to defend Palestinians' rights and holy sites. The Resistance group urged the international community and Arab nations to intervene. It also urged the International Criminal Court to hold Israeli leaders accountable for deadly violence and forced displacement. Prime Minister Netanyahu, War Minister Katz, and Finance Minister Smotrich have signaled intentions to reassert control over Gaza. Netanyahu is considering annexing parts of Gaza if Hamas rejects the ceasefire plan. This is supported by Katz and Smotrich who advocated continued security control and the resumption of settlement activities in Gaza.
