US-Israeli Gaza genocide
The Israeli military presses ahead with its relentless attacks on Gaza, leaving more civilians dead and injured across the blockaded territory. In one of the latest attacks, Five journalists were killed after Israeli warplanes hit a vehicle carrying press crew in front of Al-Awda Hospital in central Gaza. Earlier, at least five people were killed and 30 others were injured or went missing after Israeli warplanes bombed a Palestinian home in Gaza City’s al-Zaytoun neighborhood. Another strike on a residential apartment in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood of Gaza City, killed ten citizens. Israeli forces also continued extensive bombing operations around Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza. To the south of Gaza, Israel’s bombings of homes and other residential buildings in Rafah caused several fatalities and dozens of injuries. The Israeli genocide in Gaza has killed more than 45,300 Palestinians so far, leaving over 107,800 others injured.
Syria shrine attack protests
Casualties have been reported after Syria’s security forces clashed with armed men in the western city of Tartus. Syrian media, quoting Interior Ministry officials, said over a dozen members of security forces were killed and 10 others injured during clashes in Tartus. The clashes came after angry protests erupted in a number of cities across Syria, including Latakia and Homs. According to some reports, one protester was killed and several others were wounded in Homs after security forces opened fire to disperse the crowd. The protests followed a video showing an attack on an Alawite shrine in the northern part of the country. Syria’s new rulers have declared a curfew in a number of cities, including the capital Damascus, as well as Homs and Jabaleh. They claim the video of the shrine attack dates back to the time of Aleppo’s takeover by militants. They also say the attack was carried out by unknown groups and its reemergence is aimed at inciting discord among Syrians. The attack reportedly left five shrine workers dead, while the shrine itself was set ablaze.
Yemen anti-Israeli operations
Yemen says it has carried out two fresh drone attacks on the Israeli-occupied territories as part of its attempts to bring a halt to the genocide in Gaza. One of the attacks hit the port of Asqalan in southern occupied Palestine. The UAV force of Yemeni Armed Forces carried out two military operations, the first of which targeted a vital and sensitive target of the Israeli enemy in the occupied area of Yaffa using a drone, and the operation achieved its goal successfully. The other targeted the industrial zone of the Israeli enemy in the occupied area of Ashkelon using a drone that hit its target accurately.This is while the Israeli army has claimed a Yemeni drone hit an open area in Asqalan, causing no harm. The regime has not commented on the drone attack on Tel Aviv.
