Leader letter to American students 

The Leader of Iran’s Islamic Revolution says American university students are standing on the right side of history by defending the Palestinian people in Gaza.
Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei made the remark in a letter to US university students following their protests in support of Palestinians in the besieged territory. Ayatollah Khamenei said students’ awakened conscience has moved them to defend the oppressed women and children of Gaza. The Leader added that American university students are now a branch of the Resistance Front and have begun an honorable struggle in the face of US government’s ruthless pressure. Ayatollah Khamenei said the Zionist regime has subjected Palestinians to the harshest of pressures and tortures. He said the apartheid regime's genocide today is the continuation of extreme oppressive behavior, which has been going on for decades. The Leader said the Zionist regime has intensified its brutality and repression, day by day, in complete disregard for moral and humane values. Stressing that people's conscience has awakened on a global scale, Ayatollah Khamenei said the Resistance Front has grown in strength and will become even stronger.

US-Israeli genocide in Gaza 

Israel’s latest strikes have claimed more civilian lives as the regime continues its relentless attacks on the southern Gaza Strip city of Rafah. According to Palestinian media, at least five people were killed or injured after Israeli forces bombed a house near Al-Zahraa School in Gaza City. Three more civilians were killed when a home in the Tel Al-Sultan neighborhood, west of Rafah, was hit by an Israeli airstrike. Two paramedics from the Palestinian Red Crescent Society were killed when an ambulance, which was en route to evacuate casualties from Rafah’s Tel Al-Sultan neighborhood, was targeted by an airstrike. Palestinian medical sources say a total of twenty-one civilians were killed in Israel’s Wednesday strikes on Rafah. The death toll from regime's genocidal war now exceeds 36,170 people. More than 81,400 others have been injured.

Brazil-Israel tensions 

The Brazilian president has removed his country’s ambassador to Israel amid deepening tensions between Brasilia and Tel Aviv over Israel's genocidal war in Gaza. Lula Da Silva has assigned Frederico Meyer to serve as Brazil’s special representative to the United Nations and other international organizations in Geneva. Brazil's foreign ministry says a new ambassador to Israel will be announced in due course, and until then its embassy will be led by a charge d'affaires. The diplomatic spat between Brazil and Israel started after in February, Lula said Israel was committing genocide in Gaza. In reaction, Israel called the Brazilian president persona non grata, prompting the South American country to recall its ambassador.
