Israel ethnic cleansing in Gaza

Heartbreaking scenes continue to unfold as the Israeli regime presses ahead with its genocidal war against Palestinians in Gaza. According to medical sources, 24 people have been killed since early morning and almost 40 in the past day. An Israeli attack on Gaza City killed three Palestinians and injured others. Two children were also killed by drone strikes in Rafah, southern Gaza. This brings the death toll since the regime resumed its offensive to nearly 1,900. Since the genocidal war began in October 2023, 51240 Gazans have been killed and nearly 117,000 injured. According to the Palestinian Centre for Human Rights, some 600 children and over 300 women were among those killed over the past month.

Yemen reprisal attack

The Yemeni army says it has performed retaliatory operations against US and Israeli positions. Yahya Saree said the armed forces used drones and cruise missiles in two operations against US aircraft carriers in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea. The retaliation followed airstrikes by US warplanes targeting multiple areas in the capital Sana’a. At least a dozen civilians were killed and more than 30 injured in one of these deadly attacks that struck a crowded market in Sana’a. The US warplanes also staged attacks against Sa’ada, Ma’rib and Hudaydah. The US military has been carrying out almost daily raids on Yemen in support of the Israeli regime and the ships bound for the occupied territories. Some 200 people have been killed in the US aggression against Yemen since March.

Hamas highlighted his vocal opposition to war crimes and genocide against Palestinians and his role as a prominent religious voice advocating peace and human dignity. The Italian Prime Minister called Pope Francis a great man honoring his wisdom. The UN Secretary-General described the pontiff as a transcendent voice for peace, human dignity, and social justice, leaving behind a legacy of faith, service, and compassion. leaders from around the world also praised his compassion and tireless advocacy for the vulnerable.
