The Palestinian resistance movement Hamas has held the United States, the Tel Aviv regime’s biggest benefactor, responsible for Israel’s renewed aggression against defenseless civilians in the besieged Gaza Strip.

"The acknowledgment by the US administration that it was informed ahead of the Zionist aggression confirms its direct participation in the genocidal war against the Palestinian people," the statement read.

The White House says Israel’s new attacks on Gaza are in coordination with the US and Donald Trump's administration was consulted by the Israeli officials.

Hamas underscored the "blatant American complicity and bias towards the occupation."

More than 410 Palestinians were killed in Gaza after Israel resumed its strikes on the blockaded territory and ended a ceasefire deal with Hamas.

Hamas further said that Washington's unconditional support and continued military aid to Israel constitute the crimes of conspiracy to commit genocide.

"With its unlimited political and military support for the occupation, Washington bears full responsibility for the massacres and the killing of women and children in Gaza."

Hamas also said that the occupying Israeli entity and its backers must held accountable for crimes in the besieged Palestinian territory.

"The international community must act immediately to hold the occupation and its backers accountable for committing crimes against humanity."

Hamas has said Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his cabinet have decided to overturn the ceasefire agreement, leaving Israeli captives to an unknown fate.

It demanded ceasefire mediators hold the regime fully responsible for violating the agreement.

The Palestinian group has accrued the US of refuting its alleged commitment to preserving the ceasefire.

Separately, Hamas spokesman Abdul Latif al-Qanou said Netanyahu has decided to resume the genocidal war to escape his internal crisis.

Senior Hamas official Izzat Al-Rishq said the enemy won’t achieve through war and destruction what it failed to achieve via negotiations.

The Palestinian Islamic Jihad, for its part, said the new aggression will not give Israel the upper hand over the resistance, and won't extricate the regime from the crises currently plaguing it.

Hamas also called on people of Arab and Islamic nations as well as the free people of the world to hold rallies in protest at Israel’s offensive on Gaza.
