Israel West Bank incursions

Tensions are escalating in the West Bank as Israeli forces continue to raid several areas across the occupied Palestinian territory. Israeli troops ramped up their aggression against Tulkarm for the 22nd consecutive day. The Israeli military sent heavy machinery and bulldozers to the city and its refugee camp, causing massive destruction of infrastructure and vandalizing Palestinians’ property. Sounds of gunfire and explosions were heard as regime forces attacked Palestinians. Israeli troops also stormed the city of Jenin and its refugee camp for the twenty-eighth consecutive day. Israel’s aggression against Jenin has claimed the lives of 25 Palestinians so far, leaving dozens injured. The occupied West Bank has seen a surge in Israeli raids since the Gaza ceasefire agreement took effect in January. Over 80 Palestinians have been killed across the territory since then.

Rejecting anti-Iran allegations

Iran has rejected media reports about sending a shipment of weapons to Yemen’s Ansarullah movement, describing those reports as unfounded and unacceptable. The Foreign Ministry spokesman said such reports were part of efforts made to create a negative and seditious atmosphere against Iran while American officials are visiting the region. Esmaeil Baghaei noted that Iran has no military presence in Yemen and has nothing to do with weapons that are present in that country. His remarks followed allegations about confiscation of a shipment of Iranian weapons by Yemen’s Saudi-backed government. They claimed the shipment was destined for Yemen’s Hudaydah port and was seized in the southern part of the Red Sea.
