US-Israeli genocide in Gaza

Israel is pushing ahead with its genocidal onslaught on Gaza, killing more Palestinians in its indiscriminate air and artillery strikes. In the latest, four Palestinians have been killed in an Israeli strike on Gaza City’s Shujayea neighborhood and there are reports of several killed in Zeitoun neighborhood. Another five have been killed in the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza after the Israeli army shelled the area. Israel’s genocide in Gaza has killed at least 46,000 Palestinians and wounded over 109,300 others since October 7, 2023. Most of the victims are women and children and thousands of people are still unaccounted for. Meanwhile, The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said an Israeli attack struck an area just meters away from its emergency medical services point.

Israeli aggression on Lebanon

Israel has launched fresh attacks against Lebanon in violation of a ceasefire agreement the regime reached with the Arab country last year. According to Lebanon’s health ministry, Israel’s attack near the city of Tyre killed several people. We were earlier joined by our correspondent Mariam Saleh for more details.

US wildfires mismanagement

A nighttime curfew is established in regions affected by the catastrophic fires that have devastated vast areas in California. Access to these areas will be restricted solely to disaster response personnel and authorized media representatives. Breaching the curfew will lead to arrest on misdemeanor charges. Furthermore, individuals found violating the curfew will face arrest and detention. There are increasing apprehension reports regarding criminal activities in Los Angeles, as looters and thieves are preying on homes abandoned by residents fleeing the lethal wildfires.
