US-Israeli genocide in Gaza
Israel presses ahead with its onslaught on Gaza, killing more Palestinians across the besieged territory. The latest regime attacks killed at least 27 Palestinians in the eastern outskirts of the southern city of Khan Yunis. Nasser hospital, the health complex nearest to targeted areas, says the fatalities could rise as more bodies arrive there. The facility has called for emergency blood donations. The Israeli attack came just minutes after the regime issued an evacuation order for civilians in the area, effectively giving them no chance to flee. Nearly 39,000 Palestinians have been killed in the Israeli genocide in the Gaza Strip since early October. Most of the victims are women and children.
Resistance resilient
The military wing of Hamas resistance movement, Qassam Brigades, targeted an Israeli military base in northern occupied territories. Resistance fighters stationed in Lebanon launched the operation from southern Lebanese border using appropriate missiles. This came as Palestinian fighters keep putting stiff resistance to invading forces in the besieged Gaza Strip, some nine months into the regime’s invasion. The Israeli military says around 330 of its soldiers have been killed since the regime launched its ground invasion of Gaza in late October. Resistance groups, however, say the real number is much higher.
Iran naval drills
Iran is hosting a maritime rescue and security exercise in its territorial waters in the Caspian Sea with the aim of improving shipping safety in the area. Iranian and Russian Navy units are taking part in the drills. Among them are the Iranian Navy’s missile frigates and helicopters as well as a naval vessel of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps. A Russian tugboat has also joined the maneuvers. Observers from the Caspian Sea littoral states, including the Azerbaijan Republic are also present in the exercises.
