Europe wide cyberattack causes delay at Berlin airport

Travelers crowded Brussels' international airport after a cyberattack at a service provider for check-in and boarding systems disrupted operations at several major European airports on Saturday (September 20).

The attack has rendered automated systems inoperable, allowing only manual check-in and boarding procedures, Brussels Airport said.

Berlin Brandenburg also reported technical issues, which caused longer wait times at the German airport.
