Iran navy drill 

The Iranian Navy has concluded a major missile exercise, dubbed Sustainable Power 1404. The navy spokesman says one primary objective of the drill is to reinforce deterrence. Admiral Abbas Hassani noted that a wide range of precision-guided cruise missiles with short, medium, and long ranges are tested to strike and destroy surface targets. The Iranian Navy has staged regular drills in recent years, focusing on the development of its missile and drone capabilities.

Gaza ethnic cleansing toll 

Israeli forces have intensified their assault in Gaza, inflicting more loss of life and widespread devastation across the aid-deprived territory. Since morning, at least 40 Palestinians have been killed, with Gaza City being the focal point of the regime’s attacks. An Israeli strike on the Sabra neighborhood in Gaza City claimed the lives of at least eight people including four children. In Sheikh Radwan neighborhood also in Gaza city, four more Palestinians were killed when Israeli forces targeted a home. According to Gaza medical sources, the genocidal war which began in October 2023 has killed nearly 62,200 people and wounded over 157,000 others.

'Crime of the century'

The leader of Yemen's Ansarullah resistance movement has slammed Israel’s plots to achieve the so-called “greater Israel” scheme. Marking the 56th anniversary of the burning of the al-Aqsa mosque, Seyyed Abdul Malik al-Houthi said Israel aims to destroy the holy Islamic site by first isolating al-Quds from the west bank. He condemned the regime’s shelling and starvation of Palestinians in Gaza as the crime of the century. The Yemeni leader said the Zionist project backed by the West, threatens the entire Muslim world and practical countermeasures are needed to be taken. The Ansarullah leader vowed once again that the military operations of the Yemeni army will continue in support of the Palestinians.
