Aggression against Iran

The spokesperson for the Iranian Armed Forces says the United States is the primary party responsible for the recent Israeli aggression against the country. Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi made the comment in an interview with Lebanon's Al Mayadeen television. He warned the US, Israel, and their backers against any renewed aggression against Iran, stressing that any mistake on their part would be met with a devastating response. Shekarchi noted that Iran's retaliation would be even more destructive than before, as the country will use new, unexpected military tactics. Stressing that Iran does not seek to expand the scope of the war, the spokesperson warned that the country's response to new aggression would encompass the entire region and cross all red lines. Reaffirming that many Iranian missile strikes hit strategic targets, Shekarchi asserted that all US and Israeli bases in West Asia are within range of Iranian fire.

US-Israeli Gaza genocide

Death and destruction continue to ravage Gaza as the Israeli military presses ahead with its indiscriminate air and artillery strikes against the blockaded territory. In one the deadliest attacks, nearly a dozen people were killed after the bombing of a group of Palestinians in the Nuseirat refugee camp, in central Gaza. Fatalities were also reported after the Israeli military struck a home in the al-Tuffah neighborhood, northeast of Gaza city. In southwest of Gaza City, four Palestinians, including an infant, were killed after Israeli jets bombed a house near a camp in the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood. In the south, five people were killed after Israeli forces opened fire near an aid distribution center, north of Rafah, while two more were killed in an airstrike northwest of Khan Yunis. The Israeli artillery shelling also targeted several areas across Gaza, killing an unknown number of Palestinians. Israel began its Gaza genocide in October 2023. Since then, more than 57,500 Palestinians have been killed, and over 136,600 others injured.

Resistance retaliates

Gaza-based Palestinian resistance groups have carried out a fresh operation against the occupying Israeli forces, inflicting heavy casualties on them. According to the regime's media, Israeli forces were caught in two separate ambushes by resistance fighters in Beit Hanoun, northern Gaza. Six Israeli soldiers were killed and nearly a dozen others wounded in the attack, four of them critically. One of the Israeli casualties is believed to be a high-ranking officer. The operation unfolded in multiple stages, including several explosions hitting Israeli tanks, followed by gunfire targeting the rescue team and injured Israeli forces. According to the regime's media reports, soldiers wounded in the incident near Beit Hanoun were transferred to five separate hospitals across occupied Palestine, indicating the very large number of casualties.
