Iran leader warning

The Leader of the Islamic revolution has warned the U-S against issuing threats against Iran, saying Washington should know that the language of threat doesn't work in dealing with Iran. In his New Persian Year speech, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said that the adversaries will receive a hard slap in the face if they carry out any vicious act against Iran. He said the Iranian nation is standing up to such viciousness and bullying by the country’s enemies. The leader dismissed the Western portrayal of the resistance front as a network of Iranian proxies, saying the country has no proxy force but supports the resistance fighters in the region. Elsewhere in his remarks, he noted that Israeli crimes against Palestinians are condemned today by Western nations, but their states do not want to see their people opposing Israel and supporting Palatine.

 ‘Stop Israeli genocide’

The Hamas resistance movement has called for immediate international action to put an end to Israel’s renewed genocidal war on the people of Gaza. The movement said the massacres committed in Gaza by the criminal Israeli entity since last Tuesday, have so far left nearly 600 people dead, including more than 200 children. It added that the regime’s atrocities place direct political and moral responsibility on the Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to end the genocide. Hamas called on the Arab and Islamic nations to take urgent action through international forums, including the UN Security Council, to implement measures to halt the aggression and genocide against Palestinians. Hamas also called for international solidarity with Palestinians until their legitimate aspirations for freedom and self-determination are realized.

Yemen anti-Israel operations

The Yemeni army has announced a new retaliatory operation against Israel in response to the regime’s genocidal war on Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip. Saree said the operation was the second such attack within 24 hours. He emphasized that operations of the Yemeni Armed Forces in support of Gaza will continue as long as the US aggression against the country persists. Saree said the strikes, along with the ban on Israeli maritime navigation, will also remain in effect until Israel’s aggression against Gaza stops and the territory’s siege is lifted. Yemen’s armed forces have repeatedly struck locations and military targets deep inside the occupied territories since the Israeli regime began its genocidal campaign against Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip in October 2023.
