US-Israeli genocide in Gaza

The Israeli regime continues its bloody onslaught on the Gaza Strip by carrying out more attacks against the blockaded territory. Israeli airstrikes killed at least 43 civilians and injured scores more in Gaza City, while over a dozen are estimated to be missing. In one of these strikes, Israeli forces targeted a residential building, killing two children and a woman. The Palestinian resistance movement, Hamas, has condemned the latest Israeli massacres in Gaza. The group also called on the international community to stand against the horrific series of Zionist crimes against Palestinian civilians. According to the local authorities, Israel has killed at least 101 Palestinians while injuring some 170 more within the past 24 hours. This brings the death toll of the Israeli genocide up to around 37,500 with nearly 86,000 more injured.

Yemen retaliatory operations

The Yemeni armed forces say they have carried out two joint anti-Israel operations along with Iraqi resistance forces in solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza. Spokesman Yahya Saree said the first operation targeted four ships in the Israeli port of Haifa. He said the vessels belonged to shipping companies that violated Yemen's ban on entry to the ports of occupied Palestine. Saree added the second operation targeted another ship in the Mediterranean Sea while on its way to the port of Haifa. He said both operations were carried out by drones and achieved their objectives successfully through accurate and direct hits. The Islamic Resistance in Iraq confirmed its participation in joint operations with Yemen in a separate statement.

Israel ICJ genocide case

Cuba says it will join South Africa's case against Israel at the International Court of Justice, which accuses the regime of committing genocide against the Palestinians in Gaza. In a statement, the Cuban Foreign Ministry expressed its support for legitimate international efforts to put an end to the Israeli genocide. It said genocide, apartheid, forced displacement, and collective punishment cannot have a place in today's world. The Palestinian Foreign Ministry welcomed Cuba’s decision and said it indicates Havana’s unwavering commitment to justice and the rule of law. It called on all the governments to throw their weight behind the case, so the genocide in Gaza could be stopped. Cuba joins Nicaragua, Colombia, Libya, the Maldives, Egypt, Ireland, Belgium, Turkey, and Chile as countries that intend to or have formally announced their participation in the case against Israel.
