‘Trump’s Iran strategy is deepening the crisis, not solving it,’ analyst says
Human rights activist Jennifer Loewenstein dismisses the Iran nuclear threat narrative perpetuated by US President Donald Trump as a ploy intended to rally public support.
In an interview with Press TV on Monday, she argued that Trump is invoking the issue to divert attention from the high-stakes impasse in the Strait of Hormuz.
Loewenstein contends that Trump has repeatedly shifted the stated terms of negotiations instead of pursuing a genuine compromise, thereby blocking progress and heightening the risk of a major escalation.
