Roots beneath rubble: Farmers in south Lebanon under Israeli attacks

Lebanon’s agricultural sector has been a major target of the Israeli regime’s campaign of destruction, particularly in the south, where thousands of acres have been rendered barren by toxic substances, including white phosphorus and glyphosate.

Villages along the Yellow Line, where livelihoods depend heavily on seasonal harvests, have seen vital agricultural infrastructure, including vehicles, greenhouses, and power grids, directly targeted.
