Germany considers Tunisia for migrant return center plans

Germany is reportedly exploring the creation of so-called “return centers” outside the European Union to transfer illegal immigrants whose asylum requests were rejected or those who cannot be deported.

According to a German newspaper, Tunisia has been mentioned among potential countries, despite Tunisia’s repeated rejection of playing a role as a migration buffer for Europe.
