The deputy commander of Iraq’s Joint Operations Command (JOC) says the US-led coalition forces will withdraw from Ain al-Assad Airbase in the western Anbar province and hand it over to the country’s security forces next week.

The arrested individual is suspected of involvement in the 2014 massacre of up to 1,700 captive cadets by Daesh in Salahuddin province.

At least ten people were killed when two landmines planted by Daesh terrorists went off separately in Syria’s central province of Hama.
