Palestinian resistance movements have warned Israel against any consequences of Ben-Gvir’s visit to al-Aqsa, calling on Palestinians to and increase their presence at the holy site to confront the regime’s plans.

The al-Quds Research Center says there are Israeli attempts to construct a Jewish temple on the ruins of al-Aqsa.

“Making any changes to the status quo of al-Aqsa Mosque is a direct threat that will blow up the conflict across the entire region.”

Israeli forces in recent years have carried out hundreds attacks on Palestinian fishermen boats and farmlands of the besieged Gaza strip.

The situation has been tense in the occupied al-Quds in the past few hours, after a group of Israeli settlers, escorted by armed soldiers, entered the al-Aqsa mosque compound.

The al-Aqsa Mosque compound, which sits just above the Western Wall plaza, houses both the Dome of the Rock and the al-Aqsa Mosque.

Jordan has sent an official note of protest to Israel over continued aggression by regime forces and settlers against the al-Aqsa Mosque.
