Yemen's Ansarullah fighters & President Hadi reach agreement
Yemen's president has reached an agreement with Ansarullah fighters to end the country’s tensions and crisis.
Yemen’s state media says the agreement is the result of President Abdrabuh Mansur Hadi's meeting with representative of Houthi fighters Saleh al-Sammad. According to the new deal, armed Ansarullah fighters will pull out from the presidential compound. The agreement calls also for them to release Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak, an aide to President Hadi. The deal also includes a clause that would answer Houthi’s demands to amend the constitution and expand their representation in the parliament and in state institutions. The agreement follows clashes between Houthi fighters and government forces in Sana'a, which have resulted in the deaths of nearly three-dozen people.
