Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi says efforts to admit Palestine into the United Nations is a move “to rectify a prolonged injustice”.

China has condemned the Israeli attack on Iran's diplomatic premises in Syria and called on the United States to play "a constructive role" in the West Asia region.

China's foreign minister has described Israel's war in Gaza as a tragedy for human kind and a “disgrace for civilization,” reiterating Beijing's calls for an “immediate ceasefire.”

“We should call for proper settlement of the question of Palestine, which has been lingering on for more than 70 years,” Foreign Minister Wang said.

The Saudi Arabian foreign minister calls upon the international community to press Israel for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, and entry of humanitarian aid convoys into the besieged territory.

China condemns the killing of civilians amid the Israeli onslaught in Gaza and raps Israel’s actions for being “beyond the scope of self-defense.”

China says it has removed Foreign Minister Qin Gang from his post following his disappearance for a month, replacing him with his predecessor Wang Yi.
