Iran strongly condemns new US sanctions against the oil minister and some entities and vessels involved in the country's crude exports as a testament to Washington's "infringement of the law and hypocrisy."

The US Treasury Department has imposed sanctions against Iran’s Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad, several vessels and entities after the Trump administration sent a letter to the country. 

Araghchi says Iran will not engage in talks with the United States unless negotiations are free from pressure and threats.
