The head of Gaza’s Government Media Office says more than 12,000 bodies are estimated to be trapped under the rubble in the strip, amid Israeli restrictions on the entry of needed heavy machinery.

Gaza’s Government Media Office has warned that Israel is “seriously” worsening the humanitarian situation in the strip by not allowing the delivery of the “minimum” amount of aid agreed upon in the ceasefire deal.

Israeli forces have pushed deeper into areas of the central and southern Gaza, forcing displaced people to once again leave their areas.

Gaza's Government Media Office says the United States and its key ally, Israel, are using the policy of starvation as a tool to exert political pressure on the Palestinians, condemning the practice as “a war crime and a crime against humanity.”

The Gaza government has condemned Israel's deliberate crimes against Palestinian hospitals.
