The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman says the attacks recently conducted by the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) against terrorists’ positions in Syria and an Israeli espionage center in Iraq were part of the “just punishment” against violators of Iran’s security after a terrorist attack hit the city of Kerman.

Their intensifying pressures finally resulted in the resignation of Adil Abdul-Mahdi, the Iraqi Prime Minister of the time, who had strong ties with Tehran. But that was not the end of the story as Trump had yet a more dangerous game in mind…

The popular forces united with the Iraqi army to counter the foreign-sponsored militants. Iran also rushed to the rescue and once again General Soleimani had a pivotal role.
