A group of UN human rights experts have warned the UK government that the pro-Palestine activists on hunger strike in UK prisons risk organ failure and death after seven weeks of hunger strike.

Two prisoners affiliated with Palestine Action have paused their hunger strikes due to severe health deterioration, but vow that the protest will continue next year.

The Swedish climate activist was detained on Tuesday as she was holding a placard reading, “I support the Palestine Action prisoners. I oppose genocide.”
