Education and conflict seem to be intertwined in Yemen, as the exceptional circumstances imposed by Saudi Arabia and some of its allies on the educational sector have failed to prevent Yemenis from seeking and imparting knowledge.
Although the Saudi-led aggression directly affected millions of students and their families, Yemen’s education system continued to function as a symbol of resilience and as a means of building the future and confronting the challenges ahead.
