Saudi Arabia will face more Houthi reprisals unless it changes course: Analyst
Author and journalist Robert Fantina says the Houthi leadership has made clear that Saudi Arabia will face intensified attacks unless its demands are addressed, underscoring the Houthis’ significant growth in military capabilities and their emergence as a force Saudi Arabia must contend with.
Fantina argues that continued Houthi reprisals could force Riyadh to make major concessions to Yemen, particularly as US backing for Saudi Arabia has diminished.
While noting that Donald Trump’s position could change unpredictably, the analyst says Saudi Arabia is currently increasingly on its own and will remain so unless the blockade ends and Yemen’s sovereignty is respected.
