Pres. Pezeshkian says Iran can’t be bullied into submission, questions US aggression against civilians
President Masoud Pezeshkian says Iran will not be forced into submission, while questioning the rationale behind the countless instances of unprovoked American aggression against civilian targets.
In a post on X on Saturday, the chief executive challenged the United States over attacks directed at civilian infrastructure, food supplies, and livelihoods, contrasting them with a direct confrontation between military forces.
“If Americans are warriors, let them face our valiant military forces. Why wage war on civilian infrastructure, food supplies, and livelihoods?” he asked.

The president also questioned Washington-imposed restrictions on access to basic necessities, asking, “If they (the Americans)'re human, why deny people access to water, food, and medicine?”
Pezeshkian concluded by asserting that pressure would not force Iran to capitulate.
“Our people can't be bullied into submission. Iran won't surrender.”
The remarks concerned the United States’ unwarranted acts of direct military aggression against Iran, including the wars it waged alongside the Israeli regime against the Islamic Republic last June and earlier this year, which have claimed the lives of thousands of people, including numerous innocent civilians.
They also referenced Washington’s decades-old campaign of economic pressure, which has taken aim at direly needed commodities and supplies such as foodstuffs, medicines, and plane parts.
