Iran-Oman talks on Hormuz
Iran has been holding talks with Oman on Strait of Hormuz for the past two months.
According to Esmaeil Baghaei, Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman, the talks aim to establish safe shipping route through the strait. He said relevant Iranian authorities have reviewed different aspects of the proposed Hormuz route. Baghaei stated that the talks progress well and the proposed route's geographical coordinates have been agreed upon by parties.
