IRGC warns of expanded strikes on US-linked assets as Army targets hostile American vessel in Indian Ocean

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has warned that it will broaden its military response against American violations to target industrial, information technology, and artificial intelligence assets of companies with American shareholders across the region.

In a statement on Friday, the Corps reminded that “last night, the terrorist and savage US military once again committed war crimes by attacking several [Iranian] bridges, killing and injuring a number of civilians.”

In response, the IRGC added, during the 17th wave of its retaliatory Operation Nasr- (Victory) 2, the Corps destroyed a depot of American unmanned surface vessels (USVs) in Bahrain, with many of the vessels being consumed by fire.

The statement also said Bahrain's main artificial intelligence center, which has been used by the United States to assist attacks against Iranian territory, was destroyed in strikes involving several ballistic missiles and more than a dozen drones.

The IRGC then warned of a broader reprisal against US-linked economic and technological assets if Washington continued striking Iranian transportation infrastructure.

“The child-killing American regime should know that if it continues to strike bridges and transportation infrastructure, then, with God's grace, from now on, we will destroy the most important industrial, information technology, and artificial intelligence assets of companies with American shareholders throughout the region, wherever they may be,” it warned. “We will also level the most valuable assets of American companies across all countries hosting US military bases."

The statement further asserted that “all countries in the region that host US military bases are complicit in Washington’s war crimes” against the Islamic Republic.

Army reports cruise missile launch during Operation Sa'eqeh

Separately, the Army of the Islamic Republic said its naval forces launched a coast-to-sea cruise missile at a hostile vessel belonging to the "invading [American] enemy" in the northern Indian Ocean during the 13th phase of its retaliatory Operation Sa'eqeh (Lightning).

The Army added that the missile launch “forced the hostile vessel to move beyond the engagement range of the force's brave fighters.”

Hours later, the Army announced taking place of the operation’s 14th phase, which, it said, targeted a US military ammunition depot at Camp al-Adiri, as well as headquarters buildings, ammunition storage facilities, and several connecting bridges at Ali al-Salem Airbase in Kuwait.

The reprisal used explosive-laden drones, the statement noted, reminding that Camp al-Adiri serves as one of the key logistical support and force reorganization hubs for US troops, while Ali al-Salem is regarded as one of the largest centers for logistical support and the coordination of US air operations in the Persian Gulf region.

The Army's drones also targeted fuel storage facilities belonging to the US military at al-Azraq Airbase in Jordan.

Deadly, destructive American violations

Also on Friday, the Hormozgan Governor-General's Office announced that US military strikes had targeted multiple locations in the southern Iranian province overnight, including areas in and around the port city of Bandar Abbas, as well as key transportation infrastructure such as bridges and the Shahid Mirzaei Tunnel.

Authorities also said missile attacks hit power facilities and desalination pumps at Bunji village pier in the province’s Jask County, disrupting drinking water supplies to several villages in the western part of the county.

The deputy governor of Hormozgan said the attacks have so far led to the martyrdom of three people and injury of eight others. He added that emergency and law enforcement teams had been deployed immediately after the strikes.

A military site near the central Iranian city of Yazd was also struck, while residents of Omidiyeh in Khuzestan, also in southern Iran, reported hearing an explosion.

The United States has perpetrated numerous violations against Iranian territory since April 7, when US President Donald Trump announced a unilateral ceasefire in the latest bout of wholesale American-Israeli aggression targeting the Islamic Republic.

The violations continued even after Washington and Tehran signed a Pakistan-mediated memorandum of understanding last month, whose first clause clearly mandates cessation of aggression on all fronts.

The US has also been trying to help vessels evade the maritime route designated by the Islamic Republic for safe and legal passage through the Strait of Hormuz, by seeking to escort trespassing vessels through an illegal passageway.

Iran's Armed Forces have staged uncompromising retaliation in the face of each instance of violation, including those in support of illegal vessel movement in the Strait of Hormuz.
