Iran continues punishing US-Israeli enemy: Defense Ministry

Brigadier General Reza Talaei-Nik

Iran’s Defense Ministry says the Islamic Republic will continue punishing the American-Zionist enemy over its war of aggression on the country, stressing that the enemy has already been defeated on seven fronts.

Brigadier General Reza Talaei-Nik, spokesman for Iran's Defense Ministry, made the remarks on Thursday, adding that fighting back by Iranian combatants and people as well as the resistance groups is underway to defeat the invading enemy in the five remaining fronts.

“The enemy has been heavily defeated in disintegrating and toppling the Islamic establishment in Iran, weakening the Armed Forces, creating a split within the national sovereignty, fomenting riots and unrest, opening the strategic Strait of Hormuz, and also in discouraging people from the field of resistance and defense,” he stressed.

General Talaei-Nik added that punishing the enemy would be completed through “paying reparations or destruction of equivalents, escaping of the remaining American soldiers and military personnel from the region, obliterating the US bases in the region, and also giving full guarantee on never waging another war on Iran and in the region.”

The spokesman for Iran's Defense Ministry also vowed that the joint fight of combatants, people and the resistance front would continue until the full surrender of the enemy.

“Assassinating each and every commander, official and individual has boosted the might and combating power of the Iranian nation against the enemy,” General Talaei-Nik further stressed.

The unprovoked war of aggression, which entered its second month, has so far killed more than 2,000 people across the country, including women and children, according to Iran’s health officials.

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has responded with 90 waves of retaliatory strikes, codenamed Operation True Promise 4, launching hundreds of ballistic and hypersonic missiles as well as drone attacks against sensitive and strategic American and Israeli targets throughout the region.
