The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) announced that it has successfully destroyed a number of US refueling vehicles and their logistical support fleet during the 84th wave of Operation True Promise 4.
"Following the hostile exploitation of regional airbases by the terrorist US regime, the IRGC Aerospace Force, aided by their comrades in the IRGC Navy, carried out a special joint missile and drone operation during wave 84," the IRGC said in a Friday statement.
"The forces destroyed anti-missile defense systems and successfully penetrated the Al-Kharj base with solid- and liquid-fueled missiles, targeting the stationed refueling and air support fleet with a barrage of missile and drone fire," added the force.

It noted that as a result of the "impact-driven" operation, several of the enemy's wide-body and heavy refueling and support aircraft were destroyed or severely damaged.
IRGC dedicated the wave to the Martyrs of the IRIB [Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting] and all its dedicated workers.
In a separate statement about the wave of the operation, the IRGC said that its Navy today targeted "several gathering centers of American-Zionist terrorists on Bubiyan Island in a surprise, combined missile and drone attack."
In this operation, utilizing various types of destructive drones and ballistic missiles, a large number of American terrorist marines were decimated and killed, and the wounded terrorists were transferred to the Saleh Al-Sabah, Mohammad Al-Ahmad, and Ali Al-Salem hospitals, according to the statement.
Field sources report the complete quarantine of these hospitals—with Kuwaiti patients being denied admission or discharge—to focus on treating the wounded terrorists, an issue that has also sparked protests among the Kuwaiti people, said the IRGC.
Iranian armed forces have so far carried out 83 waves of missile and drone strikes with advanced weaponry targeting Israeli military facilities in the occupied territories, as well as US occupation bases and assets scattered across the West Asia region.

The retaliatory operations were launched immediately after the US-Israeli coalition carried out an unprovoked act of aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran on February 28, leading to the martyrdom of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, some top-ranking military commanders, and over 170 schoolchildren in Minab.
The Lebanese Hezbollah resistance movement and the Islamic Resistance in Iraq have also joined the front against the external aggressors, inflicting heavy blows on the enemy.
The retaliatory operations by the Iranian armed forces, as well as the resistance groups, have inflicted heavy blows on the enemy, decimating its military and strategic infrastructure.
