The latest Israeli attacks have killed at least two civilians and injured several others across the besieged Gaza Strip amid persistent violations of the ceasefire agreement.

Local health authorities confirmed that Israeli fire killed at least two Palestinians in the Tuffah neighborhood in the northern Gaza Strip on Sunday.

Witnesses said that Israeli forces opened fire on tents sheltering displaced civilians in the Tuffah neighborhood, causing the fatalities.

According to Palestinian media, Israeli warplanes carried out four airstrikes on Tuffah since early Sunday morning.

Israeli forces also detonated a booby-trapped vehicle near al-Batsh Cemetery, east of the neighborhood, causing further damage.

An Israeli drone earlier wounded four others in a separate incident in Gaza City.

The casualties were caused after an Israeli drone also hit a communications tower on Al-Wehda Street, which houses several press offices in central Gaza City. Four passersby were injured, the medical source said.

Meanwhile, in Khan Yunis, over a hundred people attended the funeral of a ‍person who was killed by Israeli drone fire on Saturday.

“They are liars, there is no ceasefire,” said Fares Erheimat, a relative of the dead man, during the funeral.

Earlier, Israeli forces detonated a robotic device near al-Awda Hospital in northern Gaza, causing extensive damage to the facility and sparking a fire in a warehouse storing medicines and medical supplies, according to medical staff.

Footage showed thick smoke rising from the area following the explosion. Hospital officials warned that repeated targeting near medical facilities further threatens Gaza’s already crippled healthcare system.

Since the ceasefire in Gaza was implemented on October 10, Israeli troops have reportedly killed 481 Palestinians and injured another 1,313, demonstrating clear disregard for the terms of the agreement.

The entry of food, shelter materials, and medical supplies into Gaza has been limited by Israeli forces, affecting 2.4 million Palestinians who are enduring severe hardships.

A genocidal war that commenced in October 2023 and continued for nearly two years concluded with a ceasefire, resulting in the deaths of at least 71,654 Palestinians and inflicting injuries on an additional 171,391 people.

Widespread devastation resulted from the war, leading to damage or destruction of around 90% of Gaza’s civilian infrastructure. The United Nations estimates that the cost of reconstruction is approximately $70 billion.
