A recent report has revealed that Paramount Global, an American multinational mass media and entertainment conglomerate, maintains an internal blacklist of entertainment figures it labels “anti-Semitic,” applying the term to any artist who supports Palestine or denounces Israel’s ongoing genocide in Gaza.

Variety magazine reported on Tuesday that Paramount’s new CEO, David Ellison, has moved to sever ties with all pro-Palestine or anti-Israel movements.

To that end, the company has dismissed executives critical of Israel and refuses to collaborate with any artist or public figure who views the occupying regime’s actions in Gaza as genocidal.

In a statement released on Friday, Paramount said it “disagreed with recent efforts to boycott Israeli filmmakers,” claiming that “silencing individual creative artists does not promote better understanding or advance the cause of peace.”

The statement came after Film Workers for Palestine, supported by over 4,000 international actors and directors, including Emma Stone, Mark Ruffalo, Tilda Swinton, Javier Bardem, and Olivia Colman, announced a boycott of Israeli film institutions complicit “in genocide and apartheid against the Palestinian people.”

The collective rejected Paramount’s characterization of their initiative, clarifying that the pledge targets institutions, not individual artists.

“We hope the studio is not intentionally misrepresenting the pledge in an attempt to silence our colleagues in the film industry,” the group stated.

David Ellison, son of Oracle billionaire Larry Ellison, assumed control of Paramount in October following an $8 billion merger with Skydance.

The Ellison family has close ties with Israeli Prime Minister and wanted war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu.

It is also the largest donor to “Friends of the IDF,” a US-based organization that funds Israel’s armed forces.

For years, the Ellisons have aligned their immense wealth with US and Israeli war agendas, pledging financial and political support for the occupying regime.

Oracle, one of their corporations, recently sought control over the US TikTok algorithm under a Donald Trump-supported agreement that transferred the app’s operations from China’s ByteDance to American investors.

The company will rebuild the algorithm “from the ground up” and manage all US user data via its cloud network, a move praised by Zionist lobbying groups as a measure against what they term online antisemitism.

David Ellison is also pursuing the acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery, which, if finalized, would place several of the United States’ largest entertainment and news outlets under a single, openly pro-Israel leadership.
