4 people killed in Michigan church attack

Eyewitness video shows a church in Grand Blanc, Michigan, on fire, after a man who crashed his vehicle through the front doors of the building opened fire with an assault rifle and set the church ablaze.

The perpetrator killed at least four people and wounded at least eight before dying in a shootout with police, officials said.

The man was identified as Thomas Jacob Sanford, 40, a former US Marine from the nearby town of Burton, police said.
