Israeli-aligned billionaires seize TikTok in battle to control Gaza war narrative in US

US President Donald Trump is expected to sign a deal on Thursday to facilitate the forced sale of the China-based TikTok social media platform to a group of US investors, who are considered the main donors to the Israeli military involved in committing crimes across the besieged Gaza Strip.

The new ownership led by Larry Ellison - the largest individual donor to the Israeli military - will take control of US user data and the algorithm, which the White House says will be "retrained."

White House sources revealed that the US and China were close to inking a deal to let TikTok continue operating in the US.

Ellison, who made his fortune developing Oracle - a database system he originally built for the CIA -  already controls CBS, Paramount, MTV, Comedy Central, Showtime, Nickelodeon, as well as Channel 10 in Australia and Channel 5 in the UK.

Ellison is also expected to finalize control over Warner Bros. Discovery (including CNN, HBO and the Discovery Channel) before the end of 2025.

Oracle isn’t quite a household name on par with other American technology companies such as Microsoft, Meta or Apple.

But Oracle nevertheless ranks among the most influential corporate forces in America -- something underscored by the leading role the company is poised to play in Trump’s deal to decouple TikTok’s US operations from its Chinese parent, ByteDance.

ByteDance was now set to hold less than 20% of the stock of the new company

Oracle is slated to house the data of American TikTok users on its cloud computing servers. The Trump administration has also confirmed that Oracle will be a cornerstone partner and investor in the new TikTok spin-off entity, which will oversee the security and algorithm that undergirds the social video platform.

US government officials have long argued that a ByteDance-led TikTok is susceptible to Chinese government control, which they say represents a national security threat.

Even before the forced sale is finalized, censorship of TikTok content critical of Israel, including of the deal itself, has reached extreme levels as the platform moves to align with its prospective new owners.

Fox – a Murdoch asset - is also seeking to join the Ellison consortium, a move that could enable cross-promotion between Fox and TikTok, further tightening the Israeli-aligned information bubble.

Disapproval of the brutal Israeli war on the besieged Palestinian territory has now risen to 60% of the US  population, nearly double the approval rate of 32%.

The US still has over three years of Trump left. Israeli-aligned Jewish billionaires control OpenAI, Google, Meta/Facebook/Instagram/WhatsApp, Palantir, CBS, HBO, and most of Conde Nast (Reddit, Vogue, The New Yorker, Wired, GQ, Vanity Fair) as well as numerous Hollywood studios, regional papers and radio stations.

Israeli companies struggling to find customers amid Gaza genocide: Leaked data

A report says Israeli companies have faced a sharp decline in their ability to attract customers worldwide since the Gaza war.

Israel has deployed artificial intelligence to target Palestinians, while tech giants have contributed to censorship, information suppression, and indirect facilitation of Israeli regime actions amid the ongoing genocide in Gaza, the report said.

Over the past 23 months, countless instances of digital repression of Palestinian and Palestine-related content online have been documented by rights groups and activists, especially on Meta’s platforms.

Recently leaked internal data has exposed Meta’s compliance rate of 94 percent with Israeli takedown requests since October 7, 2023, revealing the tech giant’s systematic silencing of content critical of Israel’s genocidal actions in Gaza.

Microsoft collaborates with Israel, deeply embroiled in Gaza genocide

Microsoft has invested heavily in Israeli companies like AnyVision, for facial recognition and targeting of Palestinians, and provided cloud services and technology that aids Israeli military operations.

The leaked data reveals that the Israeli regime, known as “the biggest originator of takedown requests globally,” is unique in its success in censoring speech, 

The leaked information confirms the American multinational technology conglomerate’s compliance with Israeli requests to conduct what has been termed the “largest mass censorship operation in modern history,” predominantly targeting users from Arab and Muslim-majority nations.

The Tel Aviv regime has so far killed more than 65,000 Palestinians in Gaza, mostly women and children.
