UN declares famine in Gaza amid Israeli starvation drive

A UN-backed global hunger monitor has declared parts of Gaza are officially suffering from a famine created by the Israeli regime.
The body says more than half a million Palestinians in Gaza City are already exposed to famine, while conditions across the rest of the coastal sliver are no different as the regime’s blockade continues to prevent life-saving aid.
The catastrophe has already claimed the lives of infants and hundreds of others.
