Iran, Armenia to expand economic potential

Iran and Armenia are moving toward deeper economic ties as President Masoud Pezeshkian prepares for a visit to Yerevan on Monday. Boosting trade relations and signing cooperation agreements are high on the agenda.
The trip coincides with a newly agreed Armenia–Azerbaijan transit deal, which opens opportunities that align with Iran’s North-South transit plan, linking the port of Chabahar to the Caucasus.
In an exclusive interview with Press TV, Armenia’s deputy foreign minister said the project reflects a shared vision for peace, connectivity, and regional growth.
