Frankfurt demands end of mosque ban

One year ago, the German police raided several mosques and religious centers across the country.

Authorities subsequently banned mosques and Islamic centers belonging to Shia Muslims in Hamburg and other cities.

A protest was held on Saturday to demand the reopening of the Imam Ali Mosque in Frankfurt.
