The US envoy to Lebanon, Thomas Barrack, has said the Lebanese government handed him a seven-page document in response to a proposal by Washington aimed at disarming Hezbollah. Analysts argue that the proposal is part of pressures on Lebanon to go for a security agreement with Israel.
